Then I woke up the next morning….it turned out to be that “special” time of the month and I knew I was in trouble. All, I think about is food with grease and chocolate. Is this emotional eating? I call it hormonal eating!
That night started my downward spiral…. Pizza. I decided a Taco Pizza would be healthier to order because it has tomatoes and lettuce, but I forgot about the meat that covers the whole top. It was the next day that I wrote on Twitter
I am failing in the eating category today…..#mamavation
The #mamavation sistas were there for me and gave GREAT advice
I did that night – I had a bowling night out with some girlfriends and only drank water. I didn’t need to spend any more of my points on alcohol.
Then the couple of days came and went….I made brownies, peanut butter cookies, went out to Culvers, and snacked! I felt guiltier each day so I started to not go on twitter and read the #mamavation tweets. I had so many regular Pepsi’s. It was bad…….at least compared to the last week. I didn’t exercise ONCE.
So, monday came and I didn’t want to confess to everyone my awfulness..that’s why this post was late. Tuesday came and I knew it would be time to weigh in. It was snowing most of the day so I started to hope my husband would come home and tell me the roads were bad. Then he was going to be late….So, many reasons NOT to go.
That afternoon I decided I NEEDED to go. I NEEDED to stop my downward cycle. I decided that I would shovel to make it easier for my husband, plus that would give me some exercise. My husband got home right before I needed to leave, and off I went. I won’t say that I wasn’t nervous- I knew the number wasn’t going to be good – possibly I would gain back everything I lost last week.
But, I stepped on the scale and it was alright. Not awesome like last week, but alright. I had lost .2 ounces. Still in the right direction.
This week I am going to do better – because
Tomorrow is always Fresh with NO Mistakes
I SO wanted to run through Culver’s drive-through and get a mushroom and swiss burger for dinner on the way home, but I didn’t. I had a PB & J sandwich and an apple when I got home. Starting fresh……
